This mill makes it easy to judge how much salt to grind over food or for recipes. Simply grind with the lid closed, then remove the top to measure the required amount.

Care & Use:
Unscrew the top part of the mill. Fill the glass container with your favorite spice. Screw the top back on and snap off the top cap. Use one hand to twist the top in one direction, while the other hand turns the body of the mill in the opposite direction. Dishwasher safe.
Our Two Cents
These ceramic mills are simply excellent for our coarse moist salts. Well designed and durable these mills last. Pop the top off, turn the mill upside down, and twist.Both the fine and coarse grinders are appropriate for salt and both result in a fine enough grain to apply directly to food.
Only the yellow top "coarse" grinder is appropriate for flax seeds and sesame seeds. The grinder does a good job of both but some elbow grease is required.
Only the white and black "fine" grinders are appropriate for peppercorns.
We’re wish there was an alternative to the plastic top but we love the textured glass base which provides a good grip when grinding.
