All alpaca items from Anna Sova are out of stock and are expected to be available in the fall of 2008.

We purchase the highest quality alpaca fiber which comes from the soft hair of the baby in the colors of "paqo" (brown) or "yuraq" (black or charcoal). Alpaca fiber is almost even seven times warmer than sheep wool and much softer and silkier. Our exotic lightweight luxury duvet cover is undyed, made of natural color of the alpaca with a fluffy, unsheared finish. Cafe color duvets are backed with chestnut eco silk and charcoal color duvets are backed with black eco silk.

Our natural baby alpaca comes from the Peruvian Patoral eco system of high altitude pastures at 11,000 to 20,000 feet where they graze on land free of fertilizers and pesticides.

The herders practice a philosophy of "Pachamama” to develop harmony between man and the mother earth and to preserve the alpacas’ welfare. Each alpaca in the herd has a name suited to its particular personality.

Pillow shams are sold individually.
